The Knicks Should Keep Losing

The Knicks need a change. I don’t know if I’m ready to step in as GM just yet, but something needs to be done. Which is why it is a good thing that they lost the past two games. WHAT?!?!? I said it’s a good thing the Knicks lost the past two games? Yes, yes, I did. And it’s a good thing because the Knicks losing will get them closer to where they need to be, a championship contender.

I WANT THE KNICKS TO WIN

Firstly, let me say this. I want the Knicks to win every game. I would love for them to go 82-0 and win the championship. After their game 1 loss, I was so excited about how they played I predicted they would go 81-1! (I was very wrong.) But we need to get things, hot, we need to start a fire! What do I mean by that? We’ll get into that shortly.

RANDLE

Now, the Knicks two wins against Utah, and Denver moved them away from the way things needed to go. Now those wins were very impressive. Randle was playing like a superstar. He was willing us to victory and keeping our team in it. He even dove on the floor and played defense! I couldn’t believe my eyes. Of course, that wouldn’t last as this was the defense he played against the Suns last night.

Comical. But it is a trend in the direction we need right now. In order to make a real change sometimes you have to step back before moving forward. (I got that from a Matthew McConaughey Lincoln commercial, he’s so cool.) But we don’t need things to be cool right now. We don’t need things to be cold either, but let me ask you a question my cousins Andre and Big Boi once asked me, “What’s cooler than being cool?”

RJ

That’s right ladies and gentlemen, ICEEEEEE COLDDDDDD! RJ Barrett is colder than Buffalo, NY right now! Not to mention this stat is from last week. He’s actually like 1-25 right now from three. He is making me look disgustingly bad for saying we should not trade him for Donovan Mitchell. Whether he is sick or not does not excuse how lousy he has played. And Thibs is still giving him 40 minutes a game! I will not give up on our savior RJ Barrett but even I can see he is killing us on the floor right now. So why is Thibs playing him so much?!?!

THIBS GONE

Remember when I said earlier, we needed to keep things hot? Apparently, our head coach is on the hot seat. (Hallelujah) In my personal opinion, and I am always right, he should have been long gone. His decisions cost them a 20-point lead against the Hawks at home. I switched to the World Series and came back and we were losing! His decisions cost them another game against OKC! They put up a franchise record 48 points in the first quarter and lost the game. That is terrible! He’s stubborn and stuck in his ways and costing us wins! Thibs since you’re stuck in your ways, do me a favor, why don’t you go on your way and get the hell out of here!

THIBS MADE GOOD DECISIONS THOUGH?

Now I will admit that Thibs has made some changes since going on the hot seat that I do agree with. But even with his change things don’t seem to be changing.

Benching Fournier was long overdue. Cam Reddish has arguably been our best player, giving him more minutes is a must. Personally, I would give Quickley less minutes because I think he is the most frustrating player to watch play the game of basketball. He plays basketball like a complete dickhead and his shot selection gets me so tight. I would also continue to play Obi more because I think he can be great. However, I think Quickley is rubbing off on him lately because he has also been playing like a tremendous dickhead, and here are the stats to prove it.

I think I’m going to give them the knickname (hah get it since their Knicks) the ball sack since the both of them play like dickheads. Anyway, a change needs to be made, even with Thibs making some moves of his own, and the team underperforming. As I said before I’m not ready to come in as GM and move Randle or RJ. That means Thibs has got to go. Put a match on that seat, light it up, THAT BOY IS FIRED!

I know the game tonight is currently close against OKC, but I think they are going to lose. And with that loss we’ll do Thibs a favor and send him home early for Thanksgiving for some extra time with the fam. He may not be able to gobble on the ball sack (Obi and Quickley’s new knickname remember?) but he can gobble on some turkey.
