PATHETIC! DISGUSTING! SOFT! RIDICULOUS! There is absolutely no reason at all the Giants should’ve ended this game in any result other than a W. We need to finish games. Our schedule is not easy down the stretch and we need to win the games we SHOULD win. Stupid penalties, terrible play calling, and bad defense straight up killed us down the stretch! In my opinion, this tie should be chalked up as a LOSS! That’s what it feels like. Since the game ended, I literally keep saying to myself “I can’t believe the Giants lost.” They didn’t even lose, but when you don’t win games you should that’s what it feels like.
DUMBASS PENALTY
This play right here should’ve kept the drive going that would’ve ended the game. You can’t see it in the video but our dumbass center Jonathan Feliciano got a taunting penalty for flexing on the Commanders Defense. What a fucking dickhead. This asshole didn’t even do a good job of blocking today and is going to flex on the entire team. This is what Feliciano should’ve done:
This guy single handedly lost us the game (not true) and in my honest opinion should be cut. Send him packing. Make him walk home. You cannot be that brain dead in that situation and kill that drive. This was the beginning of a domino effect that resulted in us losing (tying) the game. And you best believe I let him here it. Let’s just see if this coward has the guts to respond. You want to flex so much big man? Flex on me then dummy!
HORRIBLE PLAY CALLING
Now, Darius Slayton should have caught this ball. He caught a long ball earlier in the game, and there was no reason for him to drop this one. No excuses. But, he did, fine. Whatever. Was it a brutal drop? Yes. Would it have won us the game? Yes. But he shouldn’t have eaten the popcorn. But the issue is with the very next play. They ran the exact same play to the opposite side of the field and didn’t convert, AGAIN! They ran no time off the clock, put themselves in a 3rd and long, and were forced to punt from inside their endzone.
Just not smart. All game we were just chopping wood, moving up the field slow and steady and they just decided to move away from it. It made no sense and it costs them. We have one of the top backs in the league and didn’t use him in the run or pass game late. I could’ve made better play calls in Madden. AND I SUCK AT MADDEN!
PLAYING FOR THE TIE
With less than 2 minutes left in overtime, we elected to punt the ball at the Commanders 40 something yard on 4th and 3. Essentially playing for the tie because you’re assuming you’re not going to get the ball back. Despicable! Do I have to drop the Herm Edwards gif in here? I think I do.
Either kick the field goal, or go for it to keep the drive alive. Don’t roll over and show your belly! That’s a coward move, and honestly, I though Brian Daboll was more man than that. Did we end up getting the ball back? Yes. Did we burn a timeout on defense that we could’ve used while we were on offense so we could get a closer field goal? You bet! Did the announcers jinx Graham Gano by saying he made his last 7 50+ yard field goat attempts? Absolutely! Not to mention the dumbass play call where two of our players ran into each other and we gained no yards! Pathetic!
I can’t believe I have to write today about how this tie feels like a loss. Nothing like your favorite team absolutely ruining your Sunday. Not to mention I bet on them to win the game! Thanks Giants! This team better get their shit together, or else we may be on the outside looking in at the end of the season. Some people are even saying we may be the f word (frauds.) I’m not saying it but some people are. FIGURE IT THE FUCK OUT G-MEN! The clock is ticking.
