Rudolph, The Most Famous Reindeer?

Rudolf the red nosed reindeer will go down in history… as a fraud! The most famous reindeer of all? What absolute rubbish that statement is. Rudolf is literally in no other Christmas movies besides “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.” Only going to work in your own movie? That seems pretty premadonna-ish to me. You’re telling me there’s only been one (1) stormy Christmas Eve night in history? That’s less believable than Santa NOT being real (Santa’s so real and I know he reads these so I want to stay on the nice list.) But in all seriousness, I just don’t understand how old Rudy over here gets more credit than all the other Reindeer. Guy saves the day one time and all of a sudden is a hall of fame reindeer? Not on my watch.

WHY IS RUDOLF IN NO OTHER CHRISTMAS MOVIES?

Every single Christmas movie has Santa in it. Every single one! Fred Clause, The Grinch, Home Alone (kind of), The Santa Clause, Miracle on 34th Street, The Polar Express, and the list goes on and on. Rudolph is not on any of their sleighs. Why is “the most famous reindeer of all” never on Santa’s sleigh. It just does not make sense. In the Santa Clause movies with Tim Allen the reindeer everyone loves is Comet. He’s the star, why not Rudolph? They even have a reindeer named “Chet.” Chet getting more screen time in Christmas movies than Rudolph? If Rudolph was an all-time great, he’d demand screen time, and he’d want to lead the other reindeer every Christmas eve, not just when it’s foggy. Seems like a fraud to me. Might not have that dog in him.

WERE THE OTHER REINDEER RIGHT FOR NOT LETTING HIM PLAY IN THE REINDEER GAMES?

So, the story has been spun that the other reindeer did not let Rudolph play in the reindeer games with them because of his glowing red nose. But is this the truth? I mean we only see this in the movie about Rudolph (the only Christmas movie he is in, in case you forgot) and we only hear this in the song about him (which proclaims him as the most famous reindeer of all.) So clearly this side of the story is coming from his camp. Are they trying to push a narrative to make Rudolph and his story seem better than he actually is? Some people are saying this.

If, and I mean IF the other reindeer didn’t let Rudy play, maybe it’s because his vibe was off. Like I said he seems like a premadonna (I have no idea how to spell this word.) He also seems a little selfish if you ask me, only helping Santa and the other reindeer in his movie. So maybe he was actually ruining the games for the other reindeer. Rudolph seems like the kind of guy who only shoots and doesn’t pass the ball. Not fun to play with. I wouldn’t want to play with him either. I’m not buying this bullying story. If they did bully him, (which I do not condone by the way) maybe it was good for him. It made him tougher, made him able to become the leader his camp is saying he is (I don’t buy this either.)

THE MOST FAMOUS REINDEER OF ALL: NOT

You could literally make the case that any other reindeer is more famous than Rudolph at this point in time. All other reindeer are in the other Christmas movies, and their even mentioned in his song. I’m tired of this narrative that Rudolph is so high and mighty. This guy’s no Jordan, Kobe, Lebron, Brady, Bonds. He’s no greatest reindeer of all time. He had one good night and then we just crowned him the greatest ever? Not on my watch. Man is like the Derrick Jeter of Reindeer, got carried by his peers to greatness. Had a big moment or two but otherwise was overrated. Don’t believe the Rudolph hype people! Can’t spell Rudolph without “u” which in case you forgot is also in the word FRAUD!
