I Won The Game For The Los Angeles Lakers Last Night

The Los Angeles Lakers have taken a commanding 3-1 lead and it is all thanks to one person. No, it’s not Dillon Brooks for talking all that shit and getting the Lakers riled up. No, it’s not D’Angelo Russell’s clutch threes to get them back in the ball game. No, it’s not thanks to Anthony Davis’ continued utter dominance on the defensive end. And no, it’s not even thanks to the King himself Lebron James (even though he is a close second.) Well, who could it be then you ask? It’s me of course. I am the reason the Lakers won their game last night, and if you are a Lakers or Lebron fan, I would just like to say, you’re welcome.

HOW DID I DO IT?

In order to understand this story, you need to hear all of the parts. So, let’s start at the beginning. I wasn’t even home to watch the game. I got home when there was just under 4 minutes left in the fourth quarter. The game was tied and D Lo tool 2 back-to-back threes and missed. I, an intellectual, was calling him a bum for what I just watched. But also, I, the fool didn’t realize he hit three big threes’ just prior to get them back in the game.

So, as I as watching Memphis and the Lakers trade buckets back and forth late, I realized something that couldn’t be seen from the naked (this is because I know ball.) Lebron was being too passive a few possessions down the stretch. While it may have been the right move, he needed to attack like the lion he is. Here is a prime example:

The pass to Rui was the correct play but it resulted in a block and Grizzlies bucket on the other end. Not ideal. So, I knew I had to get in contact with Bron and let him know what he needed to do. And that is exactly what I did. IMMEDIATELY

BRON SAW MY TWEET

Now Bron clearly got my notification because the very next play, I am talking the literal very next play of the game, this man did this:

This man tied the game with 0.8 seconds left BECAUSE HE SHOT THE BALL! And why did he shoot the ball? Because I told him too.

And then guess what, he shot again, and it would have been the game winning shot if it was .2 seconds quicker.

But that’s okay, because he ended up getting the real game winner in overtime when he put the true icing on the cake.

And do not forget, none of this happens if I don’t yell at Lebron to shoot the ball after passing too much. Sometimes you just have to give that extra push, even to the greats. I’m glad I could help Lebron, and I’m even more glad he listened to me.

P.S.

The narrative that Lebron is not clutch is fucking hilarious. He just continues to do it over and over again. It’s an argument that never made sense, it’s an argument that comes from people that don’t know ball. Greatest player of all time, and also the CLUTCHEST PLAYER OF ALL TIME.

P.S.S.

Can anyone guess why I’m showing that video one more time? No? Okay I’ll tell you.

Months ago, Dillon Brooks said Lebron doesn’t like to go left. A ridiculous statement (he does not know ball like I do.) And last night Lebron ended the game and flexed on him while going left. Remarkable. Basketball is truly beautiful.

P.S.S.S

Just stupid. Absolutely stupid. Another milestone for the King. And I’m told last night he had an off night. A 20 20 game for Lebron is an off night. Hilarious. Dillon Brooks said he wouldn’t respect him until he gave him 40.
