HIT THE DAMN MUSIC! The Knicks have taken a COMMANDING 3-1 series lead and are 1 win away from winning their first playoff series in 10 years. 10 YEARS! And I for one, am fucking excited about it! Games 3 and 4 were absolutely electric from my couch, so I could only imagine how it was to be in the garden! I feel like I could hear everyone in the Meca through my TV and it was fucking awesome. And while we can think back to this Kobe clip since the job is indeed not finished yet, there is a lot to be excited about as a Knicks fan from these two games at the garden.
OUR BIG MEN PLAYED BIG!
Cleveland’s duo of Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley have been nicknamed “The Twin Towers” (which is fucking atrocious by the way,) and have been getting outplayed all series long by Mitchell Robinson, and Isiah Hartenstein. I for one fucking love it! Those two clowns look like they want no part of Mitch and Isiah and it is amazing.
I know all my neighbors heard the “AND 1” I yelled after this play. If I woke up anyone from their naps while doing it, I will not be apologizing. Their play has been astounding and they are literally wiping the floor with the “better big men.” And by the looks of how things have been going, I would say the domination will continue in a BIG way.
OUR BENCH
There’s an old saying “Bench players talking like starters I hate it.” Well let me tell you something, our bench players can talk like starters and you can hate it! Listen, it feels like everyone that is coming off the bench is playing stellar this series, Quickley (the true 6th man of the year) has been great defensively, Deuce McBride has come in and locked up Donovan Mitchell, but there are two players we need to highlight. The first guy I’m talking about, wears a number that is another way of saying first. AINT NO STOPPING OBI TOPPIN! I have been screaming it nonstop and he has been fucking awesome when he has been in the game. Not to mention Thibs finally stuck with him late in the fourth and he shined like the star we Knicks fan know he is on the biggest stage!
I don’t even feel this angle does this bucket justice, but it was so fucking awesome to watch and in my opinion, this really put the game out of reach for us.
Now I think you all know who the other player is… Josh motherfuckin Hart. Born to be a Knick baby! Since we acquired him at the trade deadline, he has brought a new magic to this team. His buzzer beater three to beat the shot clock in game one, playing through an ankle sprain, his offensive rebounding, hustle players, the fact that he does the same euro step on every fast break but still gets a bucket each time, and clamps on Mitchell and Garland have been MAGICAL! We don’t win these games without him. I BELIEVE IN YOUR MAGIC JOSH! (Maybe not your voice though.)
His braids are also very cool, I do wish they were the Mets logo though.
TOM THIBODEAU MADE SOME ADJUSTMENTS!
Ladies and gentlemen, it must be the end of times, hell must have frozen over! Our coach, who is known for being a stubborn mule, running our starters into the ground, not making correct subs, leaving star players in while getting blown out having us fear for injury, FINALLY MADE AN ADJUSTMENT. Our lone All Star, Julius Randle is not having a great series, but yesterday was really bad. His shots were off, his iso wasn’t working and his defense was lousy* (*for the most part.) Tom Thibodeau made the decision to bench our all-star player and it is one of the key factors that won us the game. If he keeps Julius in instead of Obi, we do not win that game, plain and simple.
Every single New York Knicks fan should be ecstatic about this because it shows that our team from top to bottom cares about WINNING more than anything. Thibs can make the right decisions for us to win. Randle can take a seat and cheer for his teammates. That is growth right there, ladies and gentlemen. And that is beautiful.
I would also like to add that even though all of the Randle slander is warranted for yesterday’s performance, he pretty much saved the game for the Knicks before being benched.
Here you have my version, the eyeball test, because I know ball. This clearly saved the game for us when we needed it most. But if you want the analytics of it, I’ve got that for you too because I bring the shovel. I DO THE DIGGING! (Posting someone else’s tweet with the facts.)
Face the facts folks, we do not win that game without our all-star. I’m expecting a big bounce back game from him in game 5 to close it out, and don’t forget I know ball.

Self-explanatory. Should’ve been an all-star. Should’ve won Most Improved Player. He is our closer. He is Jalen Brunson. AND PEOPLE SAID WE OVERPAID FOR HIM! HA HA HA! WE GOT HIM FOR A BARGAIN! HE IS HIM!
Also, what a fucking moment this was. Our legendary point guard of the past dapping up our legendary point guard of the future. What was that word I used before when describing what Josh Hart brings to the team? That’s right. MAGICAL!
THE PRINCE WHO WAS PROMISED
OH, YOU MOTHERFUCKERS FUCKED UP NOW! RJ MOTHERFUCKIN BARRETT IS HIM! HE IS OUR SAVIOR, I HAVE SAID IT ALL YEAR LONG! I KNEW WE WOULD NOT LOSE GAME FOUR BECAUSE IT WAS A SUNDAY!
All year long I’ve heard the RJ Barrett slander but I knew people were wrong. Even though I almost succumbed to the force of the dark side of Twitter after game two.
But then I thought “No.” He will lead our team to victory. He will come in clutch. The office should be run through him always! He was so fucking good these games man it almost brings tears to my eyes as I type this up. He will not slow down now. He will have a big game 5 and he will lead us through “the land” to the righteous prosperity of the second round. I can go on and on about RJ man because all the haters can suck a fat one! Not to mention the guy everyone wanted him traded for, who he outperformed by the way, put up 2 points in the second half. 2 POINTS! YUCK!
RJ Barrett pulled his pants down and let his giant fucking nuts hang all over the Cavs, all over the haters, and all over the Garden. Watching him take over games 3 and 4 were some of my proudest moments as a Knicks fan. I will follow our king through any battle. Broadway Barrett. RJ Revolution. Star J Barrett. Return of Rowan. Maple Mamba. Our savior. He is him. Let’s close this shit out. Be humble but be excited Knicks fans. This team is built for this. Hit the music.
